"We are Felipe Navarrete and Coral Herencia, residents of the Palguín mountains.
We created this foundation as a platform for action dedicated to life, the care of the forest, and its waters.
Caring for the forest and the water also means caring for the future of the next generations.
Nature is sacred, which is why we protect its habitats—where multiple native and endemic species threatened with extinction coexist—through a process of collective action that expands alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to conservation.

The foundation is a nonprofit organization established to address the threats facing the Palguín Forests through the design and implementation of biocultural conservation and regeneration projects that help highlight the vital role these cold forests of southern Chile play in the health of the planet.
