The Cuidemos Paraísos Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation and biocultural regeneration of native forests and water resources by integrating science, ancestral knowledge, art, ecology, and education into concrete actions for protection and restoration.
Our work takes place in the Palguín Alto mountain range, where our base of operations is located.

We promote concrete actions to protect threatened ecosystems, carrying out sustained efforts to safeguard the native forest and its water sources in the Palguín Mountains, with the aim of highlighting the value of this ecosystem and its importance at both the local and global levels.
We promote initiatives that integrate ecological restoration with the strengthening of the bond between culture and nature, working toward the creation of an eco-social movement and the development of regenerative approaches for the temperate forests of southern Chile.
We develop experiences, projects, and gatherings that allow people to learn from and within the forest, fostering a mindful connection with life and the balance of ecosystems.
This project is being implemented at the Ecological Park in Palguín Alto, a demonstration site where ecological technologies, ancestral knowledge, and regenerative practices come together.

land development, pressure on their water resources, and risks to unique species. The privatization of water exacerbates this situation, disrupting the balance of the watershed.

Be part of a concrete initiative: protect the last remaining areas of native forest at risk and their water rights, preventing their destruction by extractive projects.
With your help we can conserve in perpetuity , and under the Royal Right of Conservation , the forests and waters of Palguín Alto.

In this TEDx talk, our co-founder, Coral Herencia, shares the importance of protecting and safeguarding our territories and their ecosystems.
She invites us to remember that we inhabit paradises, and that these sacred places are now under threat, largely because we have forgotten that we are nature.
Various threats have reached the Palguín Alto mountain, which is why we are working today to protect its waters and forests.
Our Projects

Somos Bosques is a conservation initiative dedicated to protecting and preserving native forest areas, while promoting water conservation, biodiversity, and the balance of ecosystems.

Green Spot es una iniciativa que impulsa la creación de nuevos puntos de biodiversidad, invitando a las personas a participar activamente en la regeneración de la Tierra a través de acciones locales con impacto global.

Foros por la Tierra is a space for gathering and dialogue that brings together people, organizations, and diverse perspectives around the regeneration of life. Through open conversations, we seek to raise awareness and foster collaboration to address today’s socio-environmental challenges

BosqueLAB is a space for research and experimentation in the forest, where science, observation, and ancestral knowledge come together to understand and regenerate ecosystems.
We invite you to check out this beautiful micro-documentary series "Guardians of Memory" produced by the Cuidemos Paraisos foundation as part of "Forums for the Earth".
Our advisors
Our advisory board brings together leading international figures in systems thinking, ecology, regeneration, and ancestral knowledge. Their diverse backgrounds provide an interdisciplinary perspective that strengthens and guides our work.
Through this exchange of knowledge, they introduce new ways of understanding and fostering learning, where experience, transformation, and our relationship with nature are essential, thereby expanding the scope of our work at both the local and global levels.
